Opening the studio back up to our community

Opening the studio back up to our community

Reading Time: 2 minutes
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ announcement today, extending the stage 4 restrictions to the Greater Melbourne region means that Movement Studio continues to be limited in how we can care for our community.

For the past five weeks – and continuing for the next few weeks – we have only been permitted by the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services and AHPRA to see Urgent and Emergency patients; it has been an extremely challenging time for patients, practitioners and support staff.

We really want to thank you for your patience and understanding over the past few months as we’ve navigated each new announcement and condition of bringing you our version of health care – I think we’ve come to appreciate a new understanding of the term ‘Essential Service.’

A special mention must go to Dr Jake McPherson, who has held the fort in the studio for patients in need, while Dr Graham has been taking some much needed R&R. Thank you so much Dr Jake!

To minimise added stress for you, our practitioners and our support staff we’ve put together a plan of how we will be making chiropractic appointments from this point onwards; please have a read.
How chiropractic appointments at the studio will be made, from 14 September, 2020
Thank you for working with us to get you back into the studio and taken care of; we deem this the necessary road forward to seeing everyone who is in need right now, and into the near future. All patients whose appointments were cancelled due to Stage 4 restrictions (3 Aug – current) will be called from Monday morning 9am, for a general welfare check and to determine immediate need for chiropractic care. All patients with chronic injuries will be prioritised as much as possible in regards to finding appointments to suit.Online bookings will remain available for Urgent and Emergency cases, 24 hours in advance. For the time being, Saturday appointments will not be available as we make sure our practitioners have plenty of rest and recovery time themselves, to ensure they’re able to continue looking after you.

From the week beginning 14 September, 2020,
Graham will be available:
Monday 8AM – 3PM, Tuesday 12PM – 7PM, Wednesday 8AM – 4PM and Thursday 9AM – 5PM

Jake will be available:
Monday 8AM – 3PM, Tuesday 9AM – 5PM, Wednesday 8AM – 3PM and Thursday 12PM – 7PM
Hoping you are doing well and looking forward to seeing you soon.

Graham, Yvette, Jake and the team at Movement Studio
