Graston Technique®

Graston Technique® is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation that enables a chiropractor to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial (muscle) restrictions.

The technique utilises specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis (knots) or chronic inflammation.

The Graston Technique® instruments have been clinically proven to achieve quicker and better outcomes in treating both acute and chronic conditions, including:

  • Cervical sprain/strain (neck pain)
  • Lumbar sprain/strain (back pain)

  • Medial Epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow)
  • Rotator Cuff Tendinosis (shoulder pain)
  • Patellofemoral Disorders (knee pain)
  • Achilles Tendinosis (ankle pain)
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Scar Tissue
  • Trigger Finger
  • Shin Splints

Initial Chiropractic Consult

An Initial Chiropractic Consult involves taking a full health history, a physical examination, including both neurological and orthopaedic testing and a discussion about why you chose to see a chiropractor; regardless of whether you are only interested in Graston Technique®.

Extended Chiropractic Consult with Graston Technique®

An Extended Chiropractic Consult is usually required with more complex issues or when further soft tissue therapy is required. Dr Graham utilises Graston Technique® to get the best results for his patients in the shortest amount of time.
